The Ambassador's Daughter (1 season)

The Turkish melodramatic TV series "The Ambassador's Daughter" tells the tragic love story of a simple fisherman, Sancar, and the daughter of an influential official, Nare. Despite class prejudices, a great and strong feeling ignited between the young people, which they tried to hide from Nare's father. One day, the lovers decide to run away and secretly get married. They succeed, but on their very first wedding night, a terrible quarrel occurs between Sancar and Nare because the bride was no longer innocent when she married. In a fit of anger, Sancar refuses to listen to any explanations and drives the young wife away. Nare has no choice but to leave... for nine years. And so, years later, Nare reappears in the life of the now wealthy Sancar, who, despite his efforts, could not erase the love for the beautiful ambassador's daughter from his memory, even when he decided to marry another girl. Nare brings Sancar a little girl, saying that she is their daughter, and asks him to take care of her. Thus, the relationship between Nare and Sancar is rekindled.
