The melodramatic TV series "Love Doesn't Understand Words" has become a true phenomenon in the world of Turkish television. The overused theme of romantic relationships between people from different social strata has taken on a completely new dimension thanks to the inspired performances of actors who were little-known at the time but have since become superstars. The comedic tone of the TV series also played a significant role, brilliantly complementing the intriguing storyline about the life of Hayat, a provincial girl in glamorous Istanbul. By a twist of fate, the girl encounters a young wealthy man, Murat, the heir to a vast textile empire, and although they initially constantly clash, tender feelings eventually awaken between them. The fates of Hayat's two closest friends, Ipek and Asli, who came with her to conquer Istanbul, will also unfold in an interesting manner.
