Ada grew up in a small village. Her mother died early, and the girl was raised in the family of her uncle Ismail. Life in someone else's house is not easy, and the quiet Ada always tried to please her relatives and never contradict them. Recently, she learned that her uncle had already planned her marriage to a wealthy neighbor. The family's situation is dire, and a profitable wedding could improve their financial standing. Ada does not like her future husband: he is much older, and the girl does not know him at all.
One day she meets Yusuf, a kind-hearted truck driver. Desperate, Ada shares all her sorrows with her new acquaintance, and he agrees to help. Together they set off for the multifaceted Istanbul, where Yusuf is confident Ada can start her life anew.
However, in the big city, the girl once again faces troubles: Yusuf is detained by the police. Thinking that Yusuf has abandoned her, Ada is left all alone in an unfamiliar city.
