Biography

Even in his youth, Alexander was fascinated by theatrical art and even performed on the stage of the small Liepaja theater "Balaganchik." At the same time, Alexander was interested in music and studied playing wind musical instruments at a music college. When he was in his first year of college, the leader of the theater troupe (Yuri Zinoviev) suggested that Alexander Luchinin try his hand at acting. At that moment, auditions for young actors were being held in Riga for training at the famous Shchukin School. Thus, by chance, Alexander became a student at the Boris Shchukin Theater Institute. He graduated in 2006 with honors. During his four years of study, Alexander not only fully mastered acting skills but also managed to become a laureate of the "Youth — the Future of Russia" award (nomination "Best Student").

Immediately after graduating from the institute, Alexander Luchinin got a job at the Gogol Theater, where he served until 2010. Among the most notable theatrical works of that period are roles in the plays "Notes of a Madman," "Kidnapping Women is Dangerous," "Mad Money," "The Leader of the Redskins."

In addition to working at the Gogol Theater, Alexander also participated in productions of other theaters. For example, in the theater-studio "Man" play "After Magritte" (by T. Stoppard), Luchinin played the role of Harris. In 2008, Alexander, together with the theater "Galaxy" ensemble, participated in the production of "The Captain's Daughter."

Work on television began to appear around 2009. It all started with an advertisement for the mobile company "Tele2." Among the most notable TV series featuring Alexander Luchinin are "Korolev," "High Flight," "Univer" (role of Vanya), "Voronins" (role of Kostya), "Wolf Messing: Who Saw Through Time" (role of a military man). One of the latest premieres is the 2011 TV series "Physics or Chemistry" (role of Yevgeny Dzhabrailov).
