Nare appears at Sancar's house during the wedding ceremony. Sancar is marrying Menekse Yilmaz. Nare informs Sancar that Melek is his daughter. He accuses Nare of lying. The woman suggests conducting a DNA test, but Sancar refuses. He throws Nare and Melek out of his house.
Nare takes the girl to Sancar's father's old house, where the family lived when its head worked as a sharecropper. Nare remembers spending a night in this house with Sancar and cannot stay there; she'd rather sleep in the car. But a friend and business partner of Sancar, Gediz Isikly, offers shelter to the mother and daughter.
