The story tells of Orkhun Demirkhanly, a wealthy and cold-blooded businessman from Istanbul. His life takes a tragic turn when his twin sister Nihan, who went to Eritrea as a medical volunteer, is found dead, poisoned by a local gang. During the search for her body, Orkhun encounters Hira, a young woman enslaved by the same gang. Believing Hira to be responsible for his sister's death, Orkhun brings her to Istanbul, intending to take revenge slowly and deliberately. He forces her into servitude in his home, subjecting her to daily torment. However, over time, Orkhun begins to learn the truth about Hira's innocence and the circumstances that led to his sister's demise. Matters are further complicated when Orkhun's domineering mother, Afife, reveals long-held family secrets, including lies about his father. To challenge his mother's obsession with social status and "pure blood," Orkhun decides to marry Hira, setting off a chain of events that test their resilience and capacity for forgiveness.
